Antique & Classic Auto Collection

At the Imperial Palace Hotel, over  200 classic, antique and special interest cars are on display  in  a gallery-like setting.  Among them are Eisenhower’s parade car, the famous Tucker,  the world’s  largest collection of Model  J Dusenbergs,  Mussolini’s `39  Alfa Romeo, Hitler’s `39 Mercedes, and  classics  like the `30 Cord. Auto history before your eyes, it’s one of the world’s rarest such exhibits.

The auto museum is open every day from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m.

Hard Rock Cafe

The first Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors to the public on  June  14,1971, in London’s Hyde Park across from Buckingham Palace. At the time, it was impossible to find an American hamburger in Europe.  The story  of  the birth of Hard Rock’s memorabilia  treasure  trove  is  itself  a part of music history. A regular customer at the original Hard Rock Cafe in London,  Eric Clapton  asked, if he could hang his guitar on the wall to mark his favorite barstool as “his” spot. They did, and one week   later a  package   from  the   Who’s   Pete Townshead  arrived by messenger  with a guitar and  a note bearing  the message, ”Mine’s is as good as his! Love Pete.”

To date, Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. owns in excess of 60,000 memorabilia pieces.
You’ll find some of them in the  Hard  Rock  Cafe  in Las Vegas. Andre Agassi's tennis racket, Elton John’s costume extravaganza, signed guitars of world-famous rock stars, and much more.

Casino Legends Hall of Fame

Don’t miss the Casino Legends Hall of Fame at Tropicana where you can step back in time and  meet  the famous, the infamous, the movers and shakers that have shaped the history of Las Vegas. This history is commemorated in 5,200 sq.ft. containing 15,000 items from 738 casinos, 550 of them no longer existence. In addition to thousands of gaming chips, there are gaming licenses, ashtrays, dice, star`a contracts, costumes and old slot machines. Movie  clips are played from films inducted into the Hall of Fame,  which has also honored such legends as Benny Binion, Howard Hughes, and the McGuire Sisters. It is the largest collection of Nevada casino memorabilia ever assembled.

The US Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, " Thunderbirds, "

perform  precision aerial maneuvers to exhibit the  capabilities of modern high-performance aircraft to people throughout  the world. The squadron exhibits the  professional  qualities
Air Force people who fly, maintain and support these aircraft.

The  “Thunderbirds”  were officially activated
May 25, 1953 and  have  performed for more
than 310 million people in 50 states and 60 for- eign countries.

The  Thunderbirds  provide tours  of  their facilities every Tuesday and Thursday at 2 pm, excluding federal holidays. A Thunderbird tour gives visitors the opportunity to go "behind the scenes" with America's premiere aerial demonstration squadron.
Thunderbird  tours are  free  and last approximately  on hour. Each tour includes a short video presentation of the Thunderbird history.
A  question  and answer session follows. Then a walk through the team's museum includes the famous Thunderbird hangar, where visitors will have the opportunity to see a red, white and blue US Air Force F-16 up close and take pictures.
